Garment Care Guide

Garment Care Guide

Each Koravem piece is crafted with attention to detail and quality. To maintain the elegance, structure, and softness of your garments, please follow these essential care recommendations.

Washing Instructions

For best results, wash your clothing in cold water on a gentle cycle. This helps protect delicate fibers and preserve fabric shape. If the garment is lightweight or embellished, hand washing is the safest option. Use mild detergents only and avoid bleach, brighteners, or harsh chemicals that may weaken materials.

Drying Guidelines

Allow garments to air dry naturally. Lay them flat on a clean surface or hang them on a padded hanger to maintain their silhouette. Direct sunlight may cause fading, so dry in a shaded, ventilated area. Refrain from using tumble dryers, as heat can damage elasticity and texture.

Ironing & Steaming

Always iron garments inside out on a low to medium heat setting. For fabrics such as chiffon, satin, or knitwear, a handheld steamer provides a gentle and effective way to remove creases without applying direct heat. Avoid ironing directly over prints, raised textures, or metallic accents.

Smart Storage Tips

To help your garments maintain their shape, store heavier items folded and lighter pieces hung on wide, supportive hangers. Keep your wardrobe cool and dry to prevent moisture buildup. For long-term storage, consider breathable garment bags to protect sensitive materials from dust and friction.

Spot Cleaning & Stain Care

Address stains promptly using gentle dabbing motions with cold water. If needed, apply a small amount of mild soap and continue blotting carefully. Avoid scrubbing, as this can distort fibers or spread the stain. Test any stain-removal product on an unseen area before applying it to the fabric.

Daily Wear & Protection

Handle your garments with care during daily use. Avoid rough surfaces that may snag delicate fabrics. Allow perfumes, lotions, and deodorants to dry fully before dressing to reduce the chance of marks or discoloration. When sitting, be mindful of textured surfaces that can cause pulling or abrasion.

Maintaining Longevity

Give your garments time to rest between wears to maintain elasticity and structure. When packing for travel, gently roll items to prevent deep creasing. For season-specific pieces, store them safely in breathable covers to keep them fresh and ready for future use.
